Like the store but hate buying anything. You are hassled to join their rewards program and then shamed into donating to their childhood reading program. No wonder Amazon is destroying them.
if management wanted to easily rectify this, make a rule that after a customer says no, you DONT keep asking them, call it the 1-no rule. the second "no" out of the customer should get the employee written up because this is how you lose customers B&N. I don't tolerate car salesman tactics at a car dealership why would it be acceptable at a bookstore checkout counter...?
I used to enjoy coming to this location over the years because of the customer service. Today was less than terrible because only two staff members even acknowledged myself and the young lady I waa with. It was obvious that I was looking for something and in need of assistance and no one even bothered to question if they could be of any assistance. Needless to say that none of my money was spent there that day. Nor will it be in the near future.
Really clean and cozy. Staff are helpful
Enthusiastic employees. All of them are hopeless book lovers themselves and are more than willing to help you out. And nobody judges you for smelling the new books you've just bought.
great clean store and helpful staff right up until the point i was repeatedly asked if i wanted to buy their stupid membership despite multiple no's, i was really trying to be polite but apparently if you are polite at the checkout here they translate that as sucker-to-be-pressured-into-buying-a-membership.
