It is a nice, quiet shopping experience. The staff cut-backs make it difficult to find associates on the floor, at times.
I went in to return a pair of shoes I bought online. No one was at the shoe counter - they were assisting customers with getting shoes from the back. I went to another register and waited 10 minutes to be told that I had to go to the shoe counter. I then went to the shoe counter where 2 employees would alternate between ringing up sales and getting shoes from the back. How inefficient is that? I waited 15 minutes to be waited on. It is not a good process for either those who need something done at the register nor for one who wants to try on shoes. It was not the sales assistants fault - they were doing their best to keep up with an inefficient system. Two things - more employees in shoes and signage at other registers stating all shoes must be returned or purchased in the shoe section.
It was not good. I understand now why their stores are closing. Poor customer service.
Oy! I initially went here to find a sweater, the place was trashed. Sell or not I’ve never seen a place with clothes just thrown everywhere like it was a Black Friday sell in October. Not having the style I was looking for I moved on downstairs to the cologne counter. I wish I would have gotten the older ladies name who at first seemed friendly until I asked if they carried a particular brand English Laundry to which she immediately turned sour and said “ we haven’t carried that in 10 years” “Try CVS” I felt like I was in the scene from Mean Girls. I then over hear her to a co worker say “ people who come in to ask for things we haven’t carried in years” After getting home I do some looking around and realize her being older and out of touch was probably assuming I was meant English Leather? Not sure what that is even or why she would assume a 30 yr old would ask for that period. She clearly needs to know more regarding men’s cologne. Simple mistake I’m sure but her turned up nose and attitude towards a question will not have me coming back.
Love this store. They offer a wide variety of items from nice Couture to less expensive clothing. Very nice jewelry, shoes, sports wear, linen and lingerie selections.
