This place has great food! We recently had the Italian style sandwich, a pizza and several cookies delivered to our workplace courtesy of a Pickleman's executive and were thoroughly impressed. Will absolutely be a go-to lunch option for us from now on.
I really like the people here. They are friendly and know what they are doing when preparing your food. 2 reason for knocking down 2 stars: 1. Very expensive considering the size of the sandwich you are getting; 2. Size of the sandwich is so small, it’s almost like half of what you typically get at Potbelly or something. I wish they increase the size of the sandwich and keep the price in line to compete with Potbelly.
Place has decent food but don't rely on delivery! My work is close to this location and I often get busy so I have food delivered. I order salads generally, which should be quick to prep. I pay over $11 for a salad prior to delivery tip and it consistently takes roughly an hour to get to me with something wrong about 70% of the time. They can never get my dressing request correct and it's a simple switch. Or when I get it the quality is sub-par (i.e. lettuce turning brown, cucumbers translucent, etc). Today was the final straw! It took an hour and 40 minutes to get my food! Outrageous! My salad wasn't even cold anymore because it had been sitting in a car for so long! I will be looking elsewhere for my food as it's absurd to pay so much for such bad customer service!
The employees didn't know about the Pocket Points rewards students get. I spent points for a free chips and drink but when I showed them the redeem code (along with the address to their store that was listed) they said they didn't accept Pocket Points. Not a big deal but I was a little irked by not getting what I redeemed for. What really ticked me off was when I was charged for a water cup! I asked for a water cup and on the POS machine I see "Water - $0.25". Absolutely rediculous. I don't care about 25 cents but it's just the audacity they have to charge people for water is a pretty low blow. I will admit their sandwiches are pretty good, but the poor experience outweighed the taste of the food.
I have a lot of delivery options out here at the Sprint campus, but my go to is usually Pickleman's. They are always speedy... most of the time faster thanks Jimmy John's and a lot tastier.
